National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee is a professional standardization organization, nationwide and cross-functional, authorized by Standardization Administration of China and administrated by China Machinery Industry Federation, which is responsible for centralized management of earth-moving machinery standardization, building relationship with relevant international standardization organizations and strengthening exchanges. Its functions are strengthening macro management of earth-moving machinery standardization in our country and arousing initiative of professionals, scholars and technical personnel from divisions of production, scientific research, education and application, in order to better carry out standardization principles, unify the requirements for standard formulation and revision and accelerate progress of earth-moving machinery technology.
Business Scope
Under guidance of relevant national principles, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee submits principles, policies and technical measures on earth-moving machinery standardization to Standardization Administration of China and other relevant authorities, organizes formulation and revision of relevant national standards in the industry and industrial standards.
The code of National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee is SAC/TC334 with English name of “National Technical Committee 334 on Earth-moving Machinery of Standardization Administration of China”. National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee is mainly responsible for the standardization in the areas of loader-digger, earth-mover, dumper, excavator, land leveler, horizontal directional driller, back-fill compactor, loader, pipe handler, road roller, scraper, ditcher and etc. Earth-moving machinery committee of relevant international standardization organization (ISO/TC127) is responsible for ISO/TC127 international standards to be centralized managed in China. Now, there are 136 international earth-moving standards.
Organization Setup
National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee was founded in 2008. Its first conference was held in April of the same year in Tianjin. 44 members took part in the first conference. According to the requirements of National Committee of Standardization Rule from Standardization Administration of China, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee set up a standardization network for members, most of those were enterprises, including the enterprises of production, application and sales, scientific research institutes, supervision and inspection institutes, government department, industry association, customer representative, certification authority and other relevant organizations.
National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee is now tied up with the earth-moving machinery standardization organizations and associations from several countries for further exchange and cooperation. It strives for Chinese earth-moving machinery to enter the international market.
