Institute Profile

During the more than 50 years after founded, the Institute had finished more than 600 important projects of national ministry, more than 200 projects was rewarded technical prizes by the nation, province and ministry including the highest level national award for science and technique progress. Among the more than 200 projects, 95 projects filled the gap between China and foreign countries. The scientific and technique achievements were used by more than 1000 enterprises from 28 provinces and cities, which contribute the technique progress of construction machinery industry in our country.

Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery focuses on the basic, generic and high-end practical technology researches of energy-saving, reproduction and IT, as well as hydraulic and transmission components. The Institute is mainly engaged in the R&D, test, inspection and achievement utilization for military equipment, complete set of non-standard equipment and tooling. Its test and research for fluid drive, electrical transmission and control, structure strength, material and processing, as well as testing technology rank top in the whole country.

The Institute has Enterprise Post-doctorial Study Center, Tianjin Construction Machinery Transmission Technology Center, Tianjin Construction Machinery Reproduction Technology Enterprise Key Laboratory and Construction Machinery Energy-saving Technology Key Laboratory. It is the member enterprise of Quality Supervision Inspection Center of Construction Machinery and Hydraulic Products, Productivity Promotion Center of Construction Machinery, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee, National Excavating Machinery Branch, Scraper Machinery Branch, Construction Machinery Accessory Branch of Construction Machinery Industry Association, Academic Committee and Cooperative Innovation Platform of High-end Hydraulic component and System Development and its Industrialization. The Institute was approved as national innovative enterprise, national model enterprise of using information-based manufacturing engineering, national “863” industrialization model base, national high-tech enterprise and national sample enterprise of electro-mechanical product reproduction.
