Our earth-moving machinery standardization system has covered nearly all the fields, mainly safety, environmental sanitation, ergonomics and vibration those are required by earth-moving machinery standardization. The most priority among its work is standard formulation and revision, by which, the industry rules and regulations are clarified, earth-moving machinery technique is improved and international competitiveness is strengthened.

Main Work of Standardization

• 1.Organize to draft, discuss and submit revision plans for national and industrial earth-moving machinery standards, as well as review national and industrial earth-moving machinery standard drafts (incl. drafts for consultation, review and approval), appendix and etc.
• 2.Continue the industrial standard formulation and revision, update the standard details, enhance technology to the standard, level up the industrial standard in order to meet the requirements of the industry and technical development.
• 3.Further strengthen the existing standardization teams of all areas, improve the standardization system, propose standardization projects to be urgently formulated and revised, solve the problem of standard absence, in order to meet the requirements of the industrial development.
• 4.Arouse the initiative of standardization committee members and organizations in the industry, take advantage of their technology; promote the formulation and revision of national and industrial earth-moving machinery standardization in order to promote the industrial technical progress.
• 5.Review the national and industrial earth-moving machinery standards, update the existing standards and get rid of outdated standards, improve their applicability and availability.
• 6.Find solutions to promote and implement mandatory standards, especially for the standards in respects of newly-made safety, overall machine and key parts; find out technical problems during standard implement and solutions to promote standard implement and revision preparation.

International Standardization

Accordingly, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee is responsible for the international standardization of ISO/TC127 Earth-moving Machinery Committee and its branch SC1-SC4. China is now a member of ISO/TC127 and SC1-SC4.

Main Work of International Standardization

• 1.Review and vote the international standard drafts; the secretariat pays close attention to the international standardization trends according to work regulations, downloads all kinds of latest documents of ISO/TC127 international standards, timely track and vote the international standard drafts, such as new project proposal, CD draft, DIS draft and FDIS draft.
• 2.Carry on and participate in international earth-moving machinery standard formulation. In Oct., 2014, China proposed and led to make out 2 standardization projects named Reproduction of Earth-moving Machinery and Used Earth-moving Machinery, those won the vote from international standardization members and formal approval. They were registered in ISO central secretariat that opened the door for China to formulate international construction machinery standards.
• 3.Take part in annual ISO/TC127 earth-moving machinery session. The Standardization Committee had organized industrial members as a delegation (formal member) to take part in annual ISO/TC127 earth-moving machinery sessions for several times. In the sessions, the committee represents China to propose comments and suggestions.
• 4.Formulate and revise national standards by international standard transformation.
