China Machinery Industry Federation awarded outstanding machinery industry standardization work teams and personnel during the Eleventh Five-year Plan in the National Machinery Industry Standardization Meeting on Sept., 17, 2011. National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee was honored with outstanding work team during the Eleventh Five-year Plan.

　　It is a big prize in China machinery industry standardization field and awarded every 5 years. Among more than 260 standardization committees in China machinery industry field, National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee was awarded outstanding work team and ranked third, which demonstrated that the achievements during the Eleventh Five-year Plan were approved, and the common effort of all the committee members and communication members won the award.

　　National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee (NES) and Korean Construction Machinery Association (KOCEMA) signed a MOU on the cooperation in earth-moving machinery standardization field on Oct. 19, 2011. Wu Runcai, secretary of NES, Gao Guangxie, Vice Chairman of KOCEMA and their delegates took part in the signing ceremony and signed the MOU.

　　Both parties had talked about the MOU on the cooperation in earth-moving machinery standardization field for several times since April, 2011, and reached an agreement for better meeting the needs of members of both parties and earth-moving machinery industry of both countries. The MOU mainly contains 3 guidelines: share standards of both parties, send experts to participate standardization work of the other party with leaders’ permission of both parties, promote the cooperation and exchange of both parties.

　　Wu Runcai, secretary general of National Earth-moving Machinery Standardization Committee said in his greetings, “based on mutual benefit of China and Korea in earth-moving machinery development, the MOU of standardization cooperation will make earth-moving machinery industry and enterprises of both China and Korea be able to better and timely trace the standardization information, strengthen standardization communication and cooperation between the two countries, and fuel the development of trade.” Gao Guangxie, Vice Chairman of KOCEMA said in his greetings, “hope to sign a successful agreement through this cooperation and start a long term cooperation based on the start point.

　　KOCEMA was founded in Sep., 1994 for the government machinery industry development with more than 200 member enterprises incl. Hyundai, Doosan and other famous construction machinery groups. The association is responsible mainly for machinery standard development and review, as well as participating the formulation and revision of ISO/TC127, ISO/TC129 and other international standardization fields. At the same time, the association hosted international exhibitions for many times as a sponsor of Korean Construction Machinery Exhibition (CONEX KOREA).

　　As authority organizations of construction machinery standardization field in China and Korea, NES and KOCEMA are sure of that this cooperation will promote the development of earth-moving machinery standardization in the both countries.

　　Standardization Committee, held the 11th ISO/TC127/WG8 “sustainable” international standardization work group (work group in short) conference in India on March 23 to 27, 2015. More than 20 experts or delegates from China, America, England, India, Japan and other countries participated in the conference.

　　NES organized experts from 6 member enterprises incl. Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Associations of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and Hangzhou Zongxing Gear Co., Ltd. Several foreign experts from Caterpillar (America), John Deere (America), John Deere (India), JCB (England), JCB (India), KOMATSU (Japan) and KOMATSU (India) participated in the conference.

　　As the organizer of the international standardization project that China proposed and formulated, Mr. Shang Haibo and Ms. Chen Shuqiao from Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery gave their presentations respectively on WG (work group) drafts and expert comments

　　from several countries about Part 2: Reproduction and Part 3: Used Machinery of Earth-moving Machinery Sustainability for participants to discuss and made the final decision that DIS (inquiry) draft will be revised and formulated according to the conference comments. The structure and contents of international standardization work group draft named Improvement of Greenhouse Gas and Fuel Efficiency of Earth-moving Machinery proposed by England was also introduced and discussed in the conference.

　　This successful conference in India showed that China had made a further progress on formulating international earth-moving machinery standards. It will accelerate development of China in international earth-moving machinery standardization, globalization process of sustainability, as well as the development of China and international earth-moving machinery reproduction, used machinery and other fields.
