Standardization Committee, held the 11th ISO/TC127/WG8 “sustainable” international standardization work group (work group in short) conference in India on March 23 to 27, 2015. More than 20 experts or delegates from China, America, England, India, Japan and other countries participated in the conference.
NES organized experts from 6 member enterprises incl. Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery, Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Associations of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and Hangzhou Zongxing Gear Co., Ltd. Several foreign experts from Caterpillar (America), John Deere (America), John Deere (India), JCB (England), JCB (India), KOMATSU (Japan) and KOMATSU (India) participated in the conference.
As the organizer of the international standardization project that China proposed and formulated, Mr. Shang Haibo and Ms. Chen Shuqiao from Tianjin Research Institute of Construction Machinery gave their presentations respectively on WG (work group) drafts and expert comments
from several countries about Part 2: Reproduction and Part 3: Used Machinery of Earth-moving Machinery Sustainability for participants to discuss and made the final decision that DIS (inquiry) draft will be revised and formulated according to the conference comments. The structure and contents of international standardization work group draft named Improvement of Greenhouse Gas and Fuel Efficiency of Earth-moving Machinery proposed by England was also introduced and discussed in the conference.
This successful conference in India showed that China had made a further progress on formulating international earth-moving machinery standards. It will accelerate development of China in international earth-moving machinery standardization, globalization process of sustainability, as well as the development of China and international earth-moving machinery reproduction, used machinery and other fields.
