　　the 5th anniversary of inauguration of dingsheng company. during the five years, dingsheng company. achieved quite great development: staff increased to 435 from the original 295, production volume increased to over 300 million rmb from the initiative several tens millions. whereby dingsheng company. held a series of celebrating activities: published monograph and convened cadres’ colloquia to recall the industrialization process of system transformation through these activities, summarize the past and plan the future.

　　the signing ceremony for academy purchasing “zhongfazhan” stock equity of china external construction general company was pompously held on september 19 2003 at tianjin jinlihua hotel. people attending the ceremony consisted of vice secretary of tianjin party commission xing yuanmin, member of standing committee, educational and public health work committee chen chaoying, vice mayor yang dongliang, relevant comrades of the municipal governmant. relavant leaders of china mechanical equipment group company, china external construction general company , chinese industrial and commercial bank, and representatives of various committees, bureaus and offices, and associated enterprises also attended the signing ceremony. on the ceremony, leaders of tianjin party commission and municipal government instructed the academy to deploy the advantages of technology, talent and manufacture of the enterprise to enhance the r ＆d of new products and the level of information service to form new a growing point of economy. relevant parties should cooperate actively to press on with the approval work by national property commission and china stock supervision committee and the transfer work of stock power. the signing of purchase agreement foreshowed the founding of rapid development of tianjin construction machinery.

　　recently, the academy obtained honorably advanced collectivity prize of the 1st session golden bridge of china technical market association through the assessment committee “golden bridge of china technical market association”. on the award ceremony in beijing congress hall, the academy was granted honor certificate and medal, marking the full affirmation of relevant national department of the role of technical works the academy played in construction machinery market the golden bridge prize was instituted under authorization of national science & technology award office. assessment is held each two years and the assessment committee is composed of representatives of ministry of science & technology, chinese academy of science, national defense scientific work commission, chinese science association. chinese academy of engineering, ministry of education and relevant areas, districts and associations. the price is awarded to advanced collectivity, advanced individuals and excellent project having achieved outstanding results in technical markets in the whole country.

　　imperturbable dealing against the impact of sars to ensure normal economic operation. in the very act of our academy’s grasping opportunity against time to create the phase result of “three great strategies”, a sudden sars epidemic situation were bringing substantial impact to the operation, production and sales works. facing the epidemic situation, leading group of the academy dealt imperturbably and act decidedly by adopting powerful measures: fighting against sans on one hand and grasping economy on the other hand leave no stone unturned to minimize the influence of sars and to insure normal operation of economic work. during the sars period, in order to strength staff’s health, the academy unfolded various outdoor physical competitions such as, tug-of-war, rope skipping, basketball and football to further strength the physical condition of the staff. by the end of april, most of frontline income-creation units accomplished their planned index and realized cumulative production volume 116.889 million rmb, exceeding the level of the same period last year and founded a nice basis for the fulfillment of whole year’s task.
