• Investigate the industry and enterprise development, organize experience exchanges and report the industry development and enterprise suggestions to CCMA and relevant administrations.
• Summarize the production, market and economic index, analyze the development situation of the market, provide statistic service to member enterprises to assist them make out development plan and marketing program, as well as give advice to the administrations for them to make out industry development programs.
• Assist administrations with the industry standard formulation and revision and participate in standard promotion and training.
• Collect product quality information and report it to the administrations, promote brand product strategy.
• Organize member enterprises to host the industry technical exchanges worldwide and training, as well as participate in and visit the international and Chinese professional exhibitions..
• Compile the industry regulations, normalize the marketing activities to promote fair competition, coordinate the price to promote self-restrict on product price, maintain the industry interests and customers’ rights and interests.
• Provide consultation service with assignment of member enterprises and administrations.

Prepare and Organize China Excavator Industry Annual Conference

(1) On November 18th to 20th, 2010, EBCCMA hosted 14th China Excavator Industry Annual Conference in Shanghai sponsored by Volvo Construction Equipment (China) CO., Ltd. with the theme of “Innovation & Cooperation and Excavator Industry Sustainable Development”. The attendee analyzed the development situation of excavator industry and explored the strategy of enterprise sustainable development in the new environment.

(2) On November 29th to December 1st, 2011, China Excavator Industry Annual Conference was held in Changsha which was sponsored by Sunward Intelligent Equipment CO., Ltd. It was the 15th annual conference of China Excavator Industry with the theme of “Opportunity and Challenge China Excavator Industry Development Confronts after Economic Crisis”. This conference attracted more than 400 delegates worldwide from excavator manufacturers, accessory ones and their agents.

(3) On October 22nd to 24th, 2012, China Excavator Industry Annual Conference was held in Wujin, Changzhou. National relevant administration leaders, 35 excavator manufacturer leaders and 300 people were invited to attend the conference. Around the theme of “Scientific Development Is Vital to Sustainable Development”, attendee analyzed and discussed some questions on industry enterprise risk prevention and control, positive competition and sustainable development.

(4) On November 6th to 8th, 2013, the branch hosted the 17th China Excavator Industry Annual Conference in Hefei which was sponsored by Hitachi Construction Machinery CO., Ltd. More than 350 representatives including 37 leaders from excavator manufacturers attended the conference. Around the theme of “Build Confidence, Control Risk and Promote Smooth Increase - Excavator Industry Development Strategy of China Economy “7 Era”, the attendee analyzed and discussed the topic with a strategy height and strategy thinking.

(5) On November 20th to 22nd, 2014, the branch hosted the 18th China Excavator Industry Annual Conference in Kunshan, Jiangsu, which was sponsored by SANY Heavy Machine Co., Ltd. With the theme of “Adjust Strategy for the New Situation, Rebuild Confidence for New Challenges”. The attendee discussed how China Excavator Industry should adapt to the new situation, face new challenge and seek new way in the period of China Society transformation.

Organize the industry senior management forum

(1) On January 27th to 30th, 2010, 2010 Annual Excavator Machinery Enterprise (Chinese Brand and Foreign Brand) Development Seminar was successfully held in Shanghai, in which, 2009 Annual Excavator Marketing Report was published. The attendee reached an initial consensus on excavator import limitation, excavator industry standard formulation, industry self-restriction and risk prevention.

(2) On April 5th to 6th, 2012, 2012 China Excavator Industry Senior Management Forum was held in Shanghai with the purpose of encouraging self-restriction, preventing risk and maintaining continuous, healthy and harmonious industry development. More than 60 people from 27 domestic and overseas machinery manufacturers attended the forum. In the meeting, some leaders gave free talks on risk prevention and expressed their opinion about reducing commercial clauses, overlong three guarantee periods, lack of normative data and etc.; at the same time, they predicted the excavator sales in 2012.

（3）On May 8th to 10th, 2013, 2013 China Excavator Industry Senior Management Forum was held in Changzhou. More than 50 senior managements from 27 domestic and overseas machinery manufacturers attended the forum. In the meeting, the attendee mainly discussed the following topics: a) forecasted China Excavator Market trend in 2013 and the coming years; b) revealed the main risks which influenced the continuous healthy industry development and discussed how to deal with them; discussed how to normalize the industry sales policy, service standard and other activities to realize industry self-restriction and improve the economic benefit and competitiveness. c) discussed how to deal with used equipment and how to limit used equipment import.

(4) On May 16th, 2014, the branch hosted 2014 China Excavator Industry Senior Management Forum in Shanghai. Nearly 50 people from 22 machinery manufacturers attended the forum including Chairman Yu Hongfu from SANY Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., Global Vice President/China Chairman & President Chen Qihua from Caterpillar, President Yu Mengsheng from SDLG and etc. The attendee discussed about 2014 China excavator market situation, industry risks and how to create a fair-competition market environment.

(5) On May 16th, 2015, the branch hosted 2015 China Excavator Industry Senior Management Forum in Beijing. Nearly 40 leaders from 13 machinery manufacturers and 3 essential accessory manufacturers attended the forum including vice president Xiang Ruan from SANY Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., vice president Chen Qihua from Caterpillar, president Yu Mengsheng from SDLG, China district president FrancisSum (Cen Jiahui) from Volvo Construction Equipment, general manager Chen Gang from Sunward Intelligence Group, vice president Zhang Quanwang from Komatsu (China), vice president Huang Min from Guangxi Liugong, vice president Wang Weixian from Foton Lovol International Heavy Industry, Yu Yongkang from Shandong Heavy Construction Equipment, general manager Wangwei from Xuzhou Xugong Excavator Sales Company and etc.
